Isn’t life just grand
Another good news story! Mum and our first grandchild, Emmi, have finally arrived home from the hospital!
As you can see, my son Stephen is as proud as punch as he looks tenderly into the eyes of his firstborn while cradling her with all the gentleness he can muster.
These first time parents have certainly hit the jackpot and I can’t help but think, “It couldn't have happened to a more deserving couple than Nicole and Steve.”

They say, “A picture is worth a thousand words”, and I couldn’t agree more. Isn’t life just grand!

Well, I see we've totally lost you. It's going to be post after post of the grandbaby did this, the granddaughter did that. :) She's a beautiful little girl. I hope you get plenty of time to spoil her sufficiently.
Hi Moonshadow. Just being a proud granddad. I'll have something new to say in the not so distant future.
Take Care,
Peter

Peter,
*Big smile*!!
Peter you made me cry. She is beautiful, such a miracle. She looks like dad too :). What a beautiful moment, congratulations. Anna :)
Hi Anna! Emmi is beautiful enough to make anyone cry with happiness! My wife and I both think she looks more like her mother but she does have Steve's eyes!
Take Care,
Peter
Awwwwwww! She looks so adorable! Congrats to the first time parents and grandparents!
nice blog :)
Hi Novice Writer! Welcome and thank you for your congrats. Great to see a new face here!
Talking about multi-tasking, I'll soon be doing plenty of that when we visit up north to see our first grandchild. Spoiling her rotten and taking her off mum's hands to give her a rest, can be considered multi-tasking, can't it?
Take Care,
Peter
Hi Jhonson and thank you for visiting. Hope to see you soon!
Take Care,
Peter
Peter, I saw you over at Jafa's place, which is one of my haunts, and I remembered, 'Oh, I haven't been to Peter's in quite some time.'
I see I've stumbled in at an auspicious time. Emmi is beautiful! And your son gazing at her, wondering at his good fortune, is beautiful!
Congratulations to all of your family. And congratulations to Emmi, too, for finding herself the newest member of such a loving clan. She will be treasured.
Yea, sure, That is an excellent option for multi-tasking!:-)
Hey Peter I heard that first girl supposed to look like dad, and first boy looks like mother usually. But sometimes depending which angle you look at, sometimes they look like dad and then from other angle look like mom - after all they have genes from both parents, lol, they supposed to look a bit like mom or dad.
Peter, are you okay, I see test messages. Not sure if you have the same issue like me, not getting email notifications - I wasn't either, until find out that they were going to my spam box, and I almost thought that everyone left me lol.
Take care Peter, and have a good week.
Anna :)
Hi San and thank you for dropping by! Time for me to pull up my socks and get over to your place! Emmi is beautiful and will be more beautiful once we see her in person very soon!
Take Care,
Peter
Hi Anna! Sorry about that! I forgot about the subscribe by email on the comments. People must think I'm a dill sending off messages with only the word "test" on them.
Those test messages were me testing out my new avatar and to see if it was showing up in the new addition blogger has added to the embedded comments ie. avatars.
If you look up "Blogger Buster" on the net, go to that site and Amanda the site owner has full instructions on how to set it up.
Again, sorry about the confusion!
Take Care,
Peter
