Mother’s Day Tribute

To all the mums out there, no matter where you live, Happy Mother's Day. Yes, where would we be without you?

It doesn't seem right that only one day of the year is celebrated as Mother's Day, considering the love and effort mums put into their families. Often putting aside their own needs to keep the family unit whole and well provided for, they truly deserve the title of, Saint.

If only Mother's Day was everyday. That said, it's up to each and everyone of us, especially husbands and sons, me included, who have been guilty of dragging the chain or shirking their responsibilities, to make that dream come true.

A man of few words, I can't express enough how much my mum and my better half mean to me. If only I had done more in the past, and with that said, I will do my hardest to be a more loving and caring son and husband in the future.

Hey Peter,

Sweet sweet post!

I didn't know it was Mother's Day (I never know these universally-agreed-upon-dates); yet I'd like to wish to all Mums in the world love everyday. Every single day is Mum's Day and mothers are simply the best thing God Has Created.

I wouldn't call them Saints, but I'd say that they have a special place in my heart for life.

Peter, you are one of the sweetest men I know :D.

Cheers

Hi Max! For Portugal Mother's Day is the first Sunday in May. To keep you even more informed Mum's day next year will be the 6 May.

I know plenty of Saints, my mum and my better half.

Take Care,
Peter

Hi Peter,

You are well informed about my country: I am impressed. Yes, I was told this year Mum's Day fell on the 1st of May. LOL thanks for the info, mate.

Hi Max! I know of two saintly mothers, my mum and my wife. In Portugal, "Dia da Mãe" is the first Sunday of May. So for next year it will be held on the May 6!

Take Care,
Peter

Peter,

That is sweet: and if they had such an excellent effect in you, then you are right...they are saints.

Cheers
