Where in the world are the MacArenas? Part II

Following on from my last post I can now reveal that we, Grandma and Grandpa MacArena, travelled from Sydney to Townsville to help celebrate our granddaughter's second birthday. Yes, Emmi turned two and she have a whale of a time with presents galore festooning the family home from pillar to post.

Are we feeling guilty for spoiling her while we were there? Not on your Nelly, and I can assure you there is more of that to come. Who can blame us?

Now, without further ado, here are the cream of the crop happy shots – Enjoy!

OH, Peter! How absolutely adorable!!! She certainly has attitude, doesn't she. Really shows in the 2nd and 5th photos. You most definitely need to spoil her as much and as often as you can!

Hi Moonshadow. Yes, Emmi is a beauty to behold and what a character. It was great to see her, my son and his wife. They are so lucky and so are we.

Take Care,
Peter

Peter,

Cuter and cuter every year! And she strikes a pose like no one...I like her attitude (she'll be a strong Women, I'm telling you)!

About spoiling her: "it's better to spoil with love than spoil with abuse" (my 2-year-old nephew) :).

Cheers

Hi Max! Yes, you're spot on with that remark. I wonder if sibling number two will be just like her?

Take Care,
Peter

Ah, Peter, she is adorable and full of personality, and I'm so happy you are enjoying her. Spoil away... (I really think "spoiling" is okay as long as it goes with limit-setting and some discipline.)

She will always remember your love and how you shared her joyousness.

And I love your presentation of the photos in those cute frames!

I hope you are feeling well these days, Peter. Forgive me for not getting here more often. I'm having trouble keeping a balance and keeping my blog going on a regular basis! You know how it is, with life...

Hi Lynda. As I said before in another comment, I wonder if sibling number two will be like her!!

Emmi is cute as a button and much, much more, and I like to have fancy frames when it comes to something so cute as Emmi; the artistic side in me coming out no doubt.

No need to apologise, I understand, especially at the moment with what's happening now.

Take Care,
Peter

Peter,

"I wounder if sibling number two will be just like her?"

Congratulations!! :D
Did you receive these wonderful news recently?

I bet sibling number two will be quite strong (we cannot guarantee an equal level of strength, ex aequo, because people are different, right?).

Have a great week ahead, mate. I am super happy about the news :D.

Cheers

Peter, she is so adorable. I cannot believe she is already two and she is so beautiful, and love the cowgirl shot. I am always amazed with little girls and their motherly instincts at this age. Peter thanks for sharing your story, and you should not feel guilty that is what grandparents are for. Anna :)

Hi Max! Yes, 16 weeks plus they're looking at buying their first home. Howzat?

Take Care,
Peter

Peter 21.10.11

Hi Anna! The hat? That comes from mum's love of horses and the big outdoors. If they get their way they'll be living on seven acres real soon with plenty of Mister Eds to sick a boat, or should I say Ms Eds to sick a boat.

Take Care,
Peter
